Copilot has promised to change how we work. With Microsoft 365 Copilot, that promise already shows up across the apps we use every day. Copilot Cowork is where it starts to get more interesting. The shift is simple: you do not just ask Microsoft 365 Copilot for an answer. In Copilot Cowork, you describe what needs to happen. Cowork can make a plan, use your Microsoft 365 context, and work through the steps across the apps you already live in. In 45 minutes, we’ll look at how Work IQ gives Microsoft 365 Copilot enough context to be useful, what Skills and plugins look like in practice, and how plugins can bring in data from non-Microsoft sources too. We’ll also look at what happens when Copilot Cowork starts handling work that normally jumps between Outlook, Teams, Calendar, Word, and SharePoint. Calendar cleanup. Meeting prep. Company research. Follow-ups. The boring but important work between the work. And yes, we’ll talk about the part everyone is thinking about: trust. What can Copilot Cowork do? What should it do? Where do approvals, permissions, and human review fit? Bring your skepticism. It’s a fair starting point.
